In a wet and soggy day on Wednesday, the  Sprague Track and Field team swept the Saxons.

The girls were led by wins in both Relays, Double Winner Megan Sims in the Shot and Discus, Megan Baus in the 300M hurdles, Eden McCall in the 3000M,  Kaylee Mitchell in the 800M and Caroline Nettleton in the 400M.

On the boys side, the Olys dominated the Sprints by Dustin Jackson winning the 100M, Gabe Garcia winning the 200M, and Jarod Smith winning the 400M.  Those three were also members of our Relay teams that won both races.

Austin Kleinman was a double winner as he dominated in the Shot and Discus.  In the Shot we went 1st, 2nd and 3rd with throws from Kyle Rosenau and Dylan Smith.  Sprague’s domination in the throws continued with Dane McKinney winning the Javelin.  Eric Martin joined the 11 foot club by winning the Pole Vault and Taylor Blea won the Triple Jump.

The Olys are back in action today in a Varsity Invite at Canby.  Our next home meet will be on Wednesday 4/19.  Please come out and cheer us on as we continue our march to the District Meet.
